[    Context   ]

The project focused on the redesign of the Caffè Florian e-commerce experience. Alongside improving usability and supporting online sales, the platform needed to better reflect the character of a brand shaped by more than three centuries of history and tradition.

The challenge was to balance commerce and storytelling within a single experience. The website had to function as an effective online store while also introducing visitors to the café's history, people, products and services, creating a stronger connection between the brand and its audience.

[    Approach   ]

The information architecture was reorganised to clearly separate product discovery from editorial content. A primary navigation focused on the e-commerce experience, while a secondary structure provided access to the café's history, services and cultural heritage.

A new digital identity was developed to complement the brand's existing visual assets while introducing a more contemporary online presence. Product pages and purchasing flows were redesigned, while editorial sections combined imagery and storytelling to communicate the atmosphere, traditions and people behind the Florian experience.
